Burks Family Retreat this Week
This Friday & Saturday, September 3 & 4th, is when families will head to Camp Lookout and spend the evening relaxing, singing songs, cooking over a fire and just reconnecting with those you love.  Families come in many forms, so bring anyone you consider family! Click to learn more & register online.
 

Catch the Spirit Dinner & Classes Resume
 
CTS dinner and classes for adults and children resumed on Wednesday, August 18th. A new listing of the adult classes for the fall semester are available in the narthex or visit here for a full listing. There are a variety of exciting and informative classes from which choose. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to not only grow in your spiritual life but to connect with others in a warm encouraging environment.

- Habitat for Humanity Work Day

On Saturday, September 25th from 9:00am to 3:30pm we will take part in another enriching day with Habitat for Humanity. You can work all or part of the day. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. If you are interested in participating, please contact Ken Holmquist at kwholmquist@gmail.com or call 843-0182.
 

  

- Chattanooga District United Methodist Men Meeting

Burks will be hosting the Chattanooga District United Methodist Men Meeting will be on Saturday, September 18th. Breakfast will be at 8:00m. For reservations please contact Rev. Leon Fraley at 423-842-4219. We will have men from our district coming and would like to have a great turnout. We encourage all men to attend!!!
